Add greek yogurt into a freezer safe baking sheet. We prefer to use a silicon baking sheet as it is easier to remove the bark once frozen.

However if you don’t have a silicon tray then simply line a sheet pan with plastic wrap or parchment paper. This will ensure that you can easily take the bark out of the sheet pan once frozen.

Substitutions & Variations

The great thing about yogurt bark is you can really add anything you like into the mix depending what you have to hand.

  • Granola – to make this feel a bit more breakfast and to add an extra crunch why not sprinkle some granola pieces on top
  • Strawberries – any soft berry will work in this mixture but our family loves to add strawberries into this recipe to feel like a PB&J Yogurt Bark.
  • Vegan – to make vegan yogurt bark substitute greek yogurt with a vegan yogurt alternative such as soy yogurt or almond milk yogurt and use agave syrup instead of honey.

What to Serve with

Frozen Peanut Butter Yogurt Bark Recipe - Freezer Foodie (10)

We grownups love to eat this yogurt bark straight from the freezer. However for some serving suggestions we suggest:

  • Banana – as this pairs perfectly with peanut butter and chocolate. You could add the banana into the mix instead of honey for sweetness however we find that the sweetness is inconsistent so can go a little too sweet for my taste.

Storage

Yogurt bark should be used immediately once frozen or transfer into a freezer friendly airtight container and store for up to 2 months.
